FR-PNX is a halogen free additive flame retardant used inflexible polyurethane foam. This material is non-corrosive to glass or metals. FR-PNX is a highly efficient halogenfree flame retardant suitable for flexible polyurethane foam. It is mostsuitable for MVSS302 and Cal 117 type foams, but also applicable in UL94HFfoams. Its high molecular weight is also another advantage in automotive foamsbecause in suitable formulations it is low fogging and can give foams low inVOC emissions, passing the general automotive volatile requirements. Althoughperformance will vary depending on density and formulation it is not unusual tosee a reduction of 50% in the level of flame retardant necessary to meet theabove tests in slabstock foam. The product is very hygroscopic. Keep samplebottles, drums etc. closed
